A sculptor may ask to have a favorite bronze gold leafed, or a relative may commission a gilded frame for a cherished family portrait: Each job is as unique as the person who hires me.
restore or make?
Art conservation is about fixing things - and about respecting your ownership of a work of art. As your art conservator, I am responsible for your treasures, and that’s a level of trust I take very seriously.
Need a gilded surface for a museum installation or looking to add a note of luxury to an interior space or exterior garden? As a Master Gilder, my technical expertise can realize your vision.
A little imagination and artistry can go a long way toward producing a big visual reward. I embrace the challenge of working inventively without blowing a hole in your budget.
your place or mine?
At Your Location
Many owners do not want their art to travel. Other art works are too large or are part of a major construction project where transport isn't an option. If your budget supports location work, I welcome it.
In My Studio
Some clients prefer to have their objects conserved or produced in my Beacon studio and then shipped for installation on site. Clients are welcome to visit my studio, and many enjoy local Hudson Valley sites and eateries during their stay.
With decades in business, I know many excellent professionals. For large jobs, I can assemble and manage an elite team to get your project done on time and within budget.
